1979 5 Lace Twists- Fancy cut

From a central millefiori cluster, 5 lace twists divide the opaque deep-blue ground into triangular panels. At the apex of each one is a cluster of approx. 50 pale-pink tubes with a smaller cluster at the base. The cane in the middle is a repeat of the pink & white canes in the central set up. Spaced around it are 8 blue & white collared canes containing pale-blue & white star tubes. One panel contains the “hooded friar” 1979 signature/date cane. The fancy cutting includes a hexagonal top facet, 2 rows of geometric side facets and V-groove flutes of varying height around the lower side.
One facet still bears the original factory label. Typical Whitefriars base.
