Unusual vintage design on an opaque dusty-pink colour ground. A centre cane is encircled by 7 green/white cogs, and the colour ground is divided into 4 panels by coloured twists. Each panel is filled with pale-green/white corrugated canes, 2 large, orange/white corrugated canes and an extremely complex, orange-veneered dark-brown cane containing 9 small blue/white crimps around an 8-lobed, pale-green-centred white cog. Fire-polished base; the pontil mark has been lightly ground.
