A weight that shows just how good Vasart canes and designs could be ! The complex centre cane - barely 10mm in diameter - is composed of 19 lemon, blue, lavender, orange & turquoise bundled elements plus 3 canes packed with rods and tubes set in sodden snow! Surrounding the centre are 7 candy-pink stars in green & white collars. Fine pale-grey, yellow & orange twists separate the 2 outer rows of canes, with the whole design set over an opaque blood-orange ground. The base is flat and unpolished. As it has a low dome, the weight could well have started life as a drawer handle !
