A meticulously-set design with a closepack centre within a ring of blue, white & green florets. The garland consists of 14 filigree "spokes" with green/white and blue/white millefiori canes betwen them. The blue/white canes are “split” and consist of 2 parts: a blue/white corrugated cane with a pink/green centre tube, combined with a version of the same cane, which has been “flattened” and formed almost into a sickle! The colour ground is opaque pale-blue. A gold Monart label covers the pontil mark in the central concavity of the flat, fire-polished base. Slight greyish tint to the glass - 1940/50s Moncrieff period.
