Closepack Centre on Pale-blue

Meticulously-set millefiori canes on an opaque pale-blue ground. In the centre approx. 30 simple and complex millefiori canes of various sizes are closely packed within a ring of white corrugated canes. The border garland is composed of short lengths of fine white latticinio, single amber/white/cobalt-blue cog canes and 3 groups of complex amber & turquoise canes.
A small rough pontil mark in the centre of the slightly concave, polished base. A faint greyish tint to the glass - attributed to the 1940/50s Moncrieff period.
