Flower / Leaf Garland (H-cane)
A pale-blue flower with aventurine-veined petals around a complex millefiori stamen, a bud, short stem and green leaves set on a glowing, translucent amber ground. A rarely- seen feature is the border garland made of 12 green aventurine leaves.
Signed with a pink/white H cane next to the flower stem. Concave polished base, with a rough pontil mark. (Harland period ca. 1970/75).
(A similar garland is illustrated on page 38 of Colin Mahoney’s book “Masterworks: The Paperweights of Paul Ysart”).
