A 6-point star centred by a large white, red & yellow cane. Green/white composite canes & white corrugated canes form the points, each of which ends in a small pink, white & yellow cog cane. 6 complex millefiori canes are spaced around the perimeter. An unusual feature is the pinkish-mauve “crushed ice” cushion, which is opaque at the perimeter but semi-translucent between the centre canes. Greyish tinge to the glass; possibly Moncrieff period (late 1940s/50s), but unfortunately no label to date it more accurately. Concave base with rough pontil mark.
