A six-point star on an opaque black ground. Yellow/orange complex millefiori canes form the points; the centre is filled with colourful composite canes, red/white millefiori and simple corrugated canes around a complex centre cane. 6 complex canes are spaced around the periphery. Signed with a PY cane in the centre cluster (ca. 2 o’clock in the main image) The polished base is flat and has a ground out pontil mark. The glass has a greyish tint - attributed to the Caithness period (1962 - 1972)
